British Science Week.
'Which biscuit is the best to dunk?' was enjoyed by all children from Foundation through to year 6. Taking on the role of a Food technologist, children planned a comparative test, made careful observations, took measurements, recorded and analysed data and completed their investigations with conclusions and evaluations and some great further test ideas. The clear winner was the Rich Tea biscuit, which was still completely intact after being held in warm water for over 33 minutes and survived over 115 dunks in other tests!
Our annual science fair was enjoyed by all. A fantastic range of science was displayed. Great efforts had been put into many models, displays and STEM projects from a model of the London Eye to hand made seismometers and sundials to name but a few. Thank you to all of the parents for supporting their children with this and attending to join in the fun.
