About our schools
Welcome to the Association of Bramfield, Brampton & Ringsfield Schools. Our three schools are Church of England Primary Schools and are an ‘association of schools’ within the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Multi Academy Trust (MAT). The schools are similar in size and each school has a pivotal role within the life of the rural community within which it is located.
The Association of schools has one governing body and one executive headteacher who work closely with the MAT to ensure that high quality education is delivered at all three schools.
Each school has a designated Head of School who is responsible for the day to day management of the school. The three ‘heads of School have wide experience and complimentary skills and in working closely with the ‘executive head teacher’ form a strong leadership team. All this is underpinned by a teaching force who exhibit extraordinary skills in delivering high standards of teaching and learning that allow children to progress and develop both socially and intellectually from whatever their starting point.
The Local Governing Body (LGB) is made up of volunteers, elected parent governors and co-opted governors, all who share a wide range of experience, expertise and skills. All are a significant part of the senior leadership team. Good governance ensures that the schools are compliant within a regulatory framework set by the government i.e. it has to ensure that finances of the schools are well managed that viability is maintained; that safeguarding procedures ensure the children are protected both in an out of school; that children, staff and visitors are safe and secure when on the school premises and that the standards of teaching and learning are maintained within a national assessment framework.
Our vision as Church of England Primary Schools is to provide an ethos that ensures a caring, nurturing environment where respect and tolerance are paramount and where children have opportunities to reflect, to share and follow Christian ideals in a safe and high-quality learning environment. We want our children to be happy, friendly, caring and who see school as an exciting, fun but challenging place to be
Welcome to our schools.
